Phantom Theatre Company (PTC) was incorporated in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) corporation under the name Capital Area Student Theatre (CAST). The original mission of the organization was to promote education and children’s theatre in the Harrisburg area. CAST was reorganized in August of 2013 under the present name with an expanded scope and focus to include community theater as well as to train, cultivate, and promote the arts through educational outreach. PTC is committed to supporting charitable organizations by donating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales from its productions to various causes. In addition, several performances have been provided at no cost to area senior citizens.
